On A cliffside she calls out...

then she waits.

calico strips of color fill the sky

Someone who would climb to the vast top of the endless earth to call back?

Wind dried eyes search....
but there is no one there.
"WHO HAS RETURNED MY CALL?"
"I LOVE YOU" three times more is heard.
When she closes her eyes she is listening.
"But I have not spoken?" she utters.
"BUT I HAVE HEARD YOU"
When she closes her eyes she is happy.
